  1. This work on the LEE family of Virginia is a collaboration
  2. between Bob Burles 70515,1242 and Dick Eastman 76701,263.

  4. Dick Eastman originally created a small file showing Robert E.
  5. Lee's ancestry. This file was originally created in the ROOTS-III
  6. genealogy program by CommSoft.  The file was placed on
  7. CompuServe's Genealogy Forum.
  8.  
  9. Bob Burles downloaded that file, added a large amount of
  10. information he had collected on the Lees from his late Uncle and
  11. one of his cousins plus his own efforts.  Bob re-uploaded that
  12. information in the form of an updated file.
  13.  
  14. Dick then downloaded it, added a few minor touches, created a
  15. Register-format report (LEE1.GEN) and a new GEDCOM report
  16. (LEE1.GED) and again uploaded those to CompuServe's Genealogy
  17. Forum.
